Armored glass has many disadvantages - among others, a significant green tint: You will see a blue sky as green. This is nonsensical as well as unnecessary. Because we produce 100% transparent safety glass, which passes the visible light unhindered. Using our safety glazing means that the blue sky remains blue. And while the antiquated armored glass is only heavy and thick, the 100% transparent safety glass by SILATEC is astoundingly light and thin. This simplifies the transport and it preserves the hinges. Our safety glass is not only 100% transparent. It is also the safest safety glass in the world. It can be found there, where the maximum safety is requested: at the G7 and G20 summits. In embassies as well as in the German Reichstag. At the best jewelers on the world, in the famous Van Gogh museum or in exposed mansions and private homes. This is where an additional benefit of our 100% transparent safety glass shows its strength: 100% of the invisible, but harmful UV light remains outside while the 100% of the visible sun light shines through.
